Fieldwork Unseen
Students to complete a series of activities on the worksheet below that includes:
Give them a series of pictures and come up with a question.
For one, what is the risk? Pick out 2 risks and how you would mitigate them.
Fieldwork equipment match up. List the names underneath and then they have to match these up.
Methods - rivers. What method would you use to e.g. measure the speed of the river. Positives and negatives of each of the methods. Give pupils an example first.

Human Fieldwork
Students to complete a series of activities on the worksheet below that includes:
State your human fieldwork title
Why is this a good question and topic to study?
What were the risks and how do you mitigate them. Complete a table.
What sampling technique would you use? Give one advantage and one disadvantage?
Search and destroy - justify one primary data collection method used in your human enquiry (lesson 3 ppt)
Data presentation - describe one method used to present your data? How could it be improved?
Summarise findings - bullet point or outline of houses and get pupils to fill these in
Evaluation - show example of the table (method, con and eval) and pupils complete this. Like a flow diagram
